Do you live in the area Jagamoe?

I live in one of the suburbs mentioned, so I deal with the area everyday, the suburbs I recommended are ones I'd live in honestly, avoid goodna, and any area within a 10k radius, lol. There's a new train station opening up in Springfield and there looks like an awesome school in Augustine Heights (public)

Nothing wrong with bellbird park Goodns or redbank in my opinion. Depends on your budget, if you can buy in Springfield great if not those three suburbs are fine.

Ah cool, we moved away, then came back-was 2/3 years, and holy guacamole had Springfield changed! A whole estate (or three!) popped up. It's crazy

I don't know about the others, but collingwood park is ok, not great though.

It's funny - I have only read and heard fantastic reviews for collingwood park... It's good to know that someone is actually telling me the other side of things.. What is it about collingwood park that's not that great.

Depending on your budget (if you're moving from the south) you might be able to move in closer to the city and nicer areas than those already mentioned. Nundah (north side), morningside, Coorparoo (east), Ashgrove are all lovely areas closer to the city. My sister lives in sinnamon park/jindalee - lovely area. Then if you're cashed up - Bardon, Bulimba, Brookfield, Clayfield, Paddington would be my picks!!

I would avoid Ipswich and Logan suburbs, just my opinion. Isn't collingwood park full of disused mines that have collapsed on some people
