Default Reporting back pay with Centrelink?

DP's pay went up at the start of the year but only came into effect this week so he got a lump sum of back pay. I'm sure the answer is yes but wanted to check, do I include this in his gross pay when I report for the fortnight? He was expecting it next week so I'd planned on calling Centrelink to ask but it's come already and I'm supposed to report today. I know I can just call tomorrow and report then but thought someone might know.

Just report it for the fortnight it arrives. As long as it all adds up at the end of the financial year its fine. If i ever under estimated my earnings i just added it to the following week. They check it by financial year, not weekly.

I accidentally under-reported df's income two fortnights in a row last year and received a call the following week to go 'it doesn't match with our records'. So they can and do check quiet regularly. Well, in my case they did
