Yeah, sounds like you od late on the 10th or on the 11th. So thats makes you about 9dpo, assuming a 14 day luteal phase af would be due about next Tuesday. However you can have a 10 day luteal phase that would mean it could be the start of af... (you want a luteal phase of more than 10 days)

Progesterone is produced after you o and drops before af arrives (thats why af turns up). Prog is needed to maintain a healthy pregnancy. I've heard if you have low prog you can get spotting during the tww but there can be other reasons for spotting too.

An implantation bleed is when an embryo starts burrowing into your uterine lining, causing some bleeding or lining to get disrupted. Not everyone has an implantation bleed though.

Thanks . How would I have O'd late if was 10th or 11th. Wouldn't that be on track for day 15 or 16? I always thought. You were meant to ovulate around that time ? & why is longer luteal phase wanted ? Lol sorry for all the questions

Sorry...by 'late' I meant late in the day (ie. Evening) rather than late in the cycle.

Eta: if your luteal phase (lp) is shorter than 10 days it will be almost impossible to concieve as the embryo wouldn't have enough time to implant before af arrives. Implantation can happen anywhere between 7-12 days after o (so 7-12dpo), so if bub implants at 12dpo you wouldnt get a positive test until maybe 15-16 dpo (when af is late). So ideally lp should be about 14 days.

I suggest you just wait it out, as hard as it is! If you've got af symptoms but it doesn't arrive then there's a chance you could be pregnant. At 13dpo I felt like af was coming but nothing, not even any spotting I usually got from 12dpo. Af symptoms and pregnancy symptoms can be very similar!
