    Default Help..Still having weird AF's 5 months post D&C?

I had a D&C in January and I am still having weird periods. I use to have 35/36 day cycles with AF lasting 7 days. These are my cycles since then..

First cycle was 49 days, bled for 30 days.
Second cycle was 26 days, bled for 13 days.
Third cycle was 35 days, bled for 14 days.
Fourth cycle was 32 days, bled for 8 days.
Fifth cycle was 32 days, bled for 9 days.

Bleeding seems to pick up when I do #2 so I am concerned about that (it's definitely coming from my hoohar lol) blood comes out red when I do even when the usual flow has gone that dark colour..

Has anyone else had weird periods post D&C and what was the outcome? I have an appointment with a GP next week.

    Bump

Doctor suspecting molar pregnancy did BHCG and FSH blood test and Ultrasound. Ultrasound woman said she could see no sign of pregnancy which sounds good. Going back for results on Monday.

Hi. I had a d&c beginning of feb. Doctors suspected partial molar after labs were done on tissue came back abnormal. Follow up hcg testing was done till chromosome testing came back as a negative. Weekly until zero then monthly. It took about 12 weeks or so til it was zero but the last few weeks were less than 5 which counts as negative. My doctor said that if it took longer than 12 wks to be negative they would follow up and see if there was anything else that was causing it.

In regards to the bleeding, while there was still hcg in my system I was bleeding on and off constantly, probably more on than off. Never a huge amount (a liner would have done the trick mostly). I can't say how often and for how long cause I wasn't timing due to knowing that it wasn't really a cycle.

I don't know if this really helps but good luck with the testing and please post an update on the outcome.

Thanks for the thread - I have had weird cycles after my D&C in July and wondered how normal they were, too. Reassuring to hear that it is common.
