    Default Baby Shower Party Ideas**

    Hi there.
I am currently 26 weeks pregnant with my second child. With my first child I didn't have much of a baby shower but this time round would like to be more organised.
Just wanting to hear other mothers thoughts on Baby Shower Parties. What you did? Where was held? If it also involved partners? Party Games etc

    Hi youngmother!

I had my baby shower about 2 weeks ago. My sister organised it for me and we had it at a local playgroup as I have small house and also I wanted to invite a few people who had young children so the fenced in playground etc was a hit with them! Might work for you if you've got little kids coming and it was quite cheap too, about $60 for 3 hrs plus a bond.

We played a few games like guess the baby item where I wore a blindfold and had to guess the baby item that was handed to me. Probably a bit redundant for you as you're probably a pro at it already! also the game where everyone gets a piece of string and guesses the mum to be circumference around her belly.

    Hope that helps x

Hi there! I held a baby shower for one of my friends a couple of months ago. We played a few games like don't say baby, guess mums girth, name that baby food and guess the nappy mess (melted chocolate in a nappy, i had a little too much fun making it look as gross as possible). I also got everyone to bring a baby photo of themselves for guess that baby. This was a really good ice breaking game.

And the hit of the shower......1371546662385.jpg

And just to gloat as well, double choc mud with chocolate ganache cakes .....1371546740527.jpg

Everyone loved the games and had a good laugh.

Ooo I went to one a few months ago where we had to cut up pictures of mum and dad and mold them together on a separate piece of paper to see what the baby would look like! I don't think I've ever seen an uglier baby, but it was lots of fun
