Default Laundry renovation - what are the must haves?

I'm thinking about renovating our laundry and have a few ideas but want to see if anyone has any great features that I should include.

These are my ideas so far:
    - tall, narrow cupboard for broom, upright vacuum, mop, etc
    - bench space (for folding clothes etc) with under bench and overheard cupboards
    - sink in other bench space with more under bench and overhead cupboards

We did ours recently. Love your ideas. My other must have was floor to ceiling tiles.

I was gong to say definitely the bench space for folding and sorting but see you have that covered
I have just put baskets on ours, one for each child (well younger two share cause they share a room and the bench isn't quite big enough!) and I put their clean washing straight into that, they are learning they must then come get it, fold it and put it away.
Saves the washing mountain overtaking the house lol

DP just did half of our laundry and has two rails....this is our dry cupboard (so to speak) so I don't have to hang clothes all over the house.

Will see if I can get a pic of it.

On the other side he is going to put overhead cupboards as well.

We have a drawer under our bench that is really deep - it's a pull out hamper I guess. I love it and its the first house I've ever had or seen one in. I keep the nappy bucket in it and it still fits in heaps of clothes, towels and linen. We also have clothes hampers in the bedrooms but it's not enough!

An airer is amazing. Excuse the clothes - it's been rainy but I've got nearly a whole load on there - saves spreading it out around the house.
