Also stealing this idea. Our couch needs a prop up as well as extra storage!

We didn't have an Ikea in Darwin but I bought a few things online a total of about $700 and it cost me no more than $100 to get it delivered to our house from Adelaide

FL, did you make the cushions?

No they're from an old couch. The bottom one is velcrod to the top of the expedit. It actually works really well that the cushions are a little shorter than the bookcase because I use the end as a little side table.

With the 4x4 ones do you attach to the wall? I'm in a rental so can't and am worried DS might start climbing it.

MummyJenn - I've got a 5x5 one, it comes with brackets to attach it to the wall. DS isn't allowed in that part of the house so it's not wall braced yet. It's very heavy, I have trouble trying to get it to move but I'd still want to brace a 4x4 or a 5x5 just incase.
