Totally! I also think anyone who is smug about their parenting choices really needs to get a life. Smug because your kid never watches telly? Whatevs. Run a marathon and raise $20k for charity. Or win a Nobel prize. Then you get to be smug.

I try not to, but yes, there are times where I have.
I'm often the one being judged, being 23 with 2 kids. I look a lot younger though, mums at school thought I was 18-20! LOL.

Eta: not about age no way! Lol usually I'd judge for the same as PPs, abuse, neglect etc.

But I also know you just never know what's happening in their lives, so if i see an isolated instance I remind myself 'Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.

Not for age. One of the best mothers I know was have birth to her oldest 3 days before her 18th birthday & one of the worst was 45 when she had her son.

I think I face much more judgement now as a stepmother/blended family than I ever did as a 17 yr old first time mum.

Or maybe it's that my social group consists of bored middle aged housewives now who like to have an opinion

Ok so I will be honest and say I do judge others. All the time. We all make judgments of people, places and things everyday. It is how we navigate and make sense of our world. I don't think the important question is whether or not someone judges others, but more what they then do with those judgments. For example I have been raised with all sorts of values and beliefs. These values and beliefs often lead to judgments, however each day I strive to challenge said judgments and change my values and beliefs because as I have grown up I have come to realize some of the core values and beliefs I have are wrong. So I can't help making those judgments in my mind, it happens without my conscious awareness, I do however try to then be conscious of those judgments and change them when I need to. I hope that made sense
