I also recommend the BJ city mini. There's the normal version and a GT which is more for walking and bumpy terrain. I have the normal one because I don't do a lot of footpath walking.

If you buy it, consider buying it online from the U.S. Even with postage, I got it about $100 cheaper than buying it in Oz.

I'd go a baby jogger city versa GT, I have the plain Versa and would not recommend it as a 'walking' pram. It does have suspension but it's not as good as air tyres, I've had the mountain buggy duo and phil and teds explorer and I can tell the difference. Versa is great for the shops though and that's what I had in mind when I bought mine. Now they have the GT option and it has the best of both the mini and versa

I hav the city mini gt and love it also. Definitely buy from eBay or us site it's abut $200 cheaper even with postage.

When it comes to city mini vs city mini gt, I went and tested them out and I think the extra I paid for the gt is worth it. Adjustable handle is great as dp and I are different heights, and the brake on the side of the pram is very handy and I find it less awkward than a foot break

Just be aware the warranty won't be valid here so if you need any repairs or its recalled you will have to pay any shipping costs back to the country you buy it from.

Baby can't face you, that was one of my biggest concerns, I bought one (GT) anyway and absolutely LOVE IT! You will not be dissapointed. Every now and then DS can get noisy and I just walk beside the pram and sing to him and he is happy. There are some great cushions and liners on Etsy too.
