My DiMo twins were born via elec c/s at 37+3 due to my mental state. I couldn't mentally cope any more.

They showed no signs of natural labour starting before that date though.. I do believe I could have made it to 40 weeks.

Not really.....they were a pretty good size for premmie twins....each about 5 pounds. They stayed in for 3 weeks just to develop the sucking reflex & fatten up. They've were really healthy bubs.

i had a shot of steroids, which I believe made all the difference

I had my dcda twins at 32 weeks. Went into spontaneous labour and birthed naturally
They spent a few days in NICU then 3 weeks in SCN.
    Good luck, twins are amazing!!

My MoDi twins were delivered at 36+6 via scheduled c-section. But prior to that I'd had no signs of early labour, on coming labour, any labour at all really!

My Di-Di boys were born at 25+6 weeks after 2 weeks strict hospital bed rest after a scan at 24 weeks showed my cervix to have shortened. I had no signs anything was wrong and if it wasn't for the scan I would not have known, everything had been perfect up til 24 weeks. After 2 weeks in hospital on various medications and having my bed in trendelenberg position (head down legs up), and not sitting up or getting out of bed at all, doing everything to keep them baking, I had a very short labour and vaginal delivery, just couldn't keep them in any longer!

My dcda twins were born at 39+3 weeks. I was induced after doing lots of research that suggested much better outcomes for twins born by 40 weeks, and because my mum was down from interstate to help out and i really felt I needed her there for longer after they were born rather than before. She'd been hanging around waiting for a couple of weeks by then! I honestly think I would've gone overdue if I had not been induced as all my pregnancies were overdue. I knew I wouldn't go early with the twins either. It wasby far my easiest birth of all my kids.
