If af is due 6th of July does that mean I can test this weekend on 30th? 6 days before af? That would be about 8dpo? I am new to this and don't know how early I can test.
I Would try to hold out till around 10dpo if you can. Hell who am i kidding, i started at 8dpo! If you have ICs, i would say go for it!! But if you are using FRER or other over the counter tests, it can get reallly expensive!! Most people get a BFP 12-14dpo, much earlier and you have less chance of getting an accurate result.
Im in the process of convincing myself that im NOT testing until a few days after AF doesnt come.... I Think...I have just, or am just about to ovulate :| lol

The pain is horrible...and yep, its pretty close to early labour pains! (something to look foward too) not! LOL

I already have decided next time im in labour, when im comfortable somewhere, NOONE, and i mean NO ONE will be able to move me! Even if i was at risk of delivering my baby in the toilet if i had of stayed put!

Well...not quite...but i had no pain what so ever sitting on the toilet and got to 3cm, but as soon as they moved me off there, i couldnt cope with the pain (Also 36hrs no sleep prior to that doesnt help with your pain threshold - it goes out the window!)

Well if I ovulated Sunday then 10dpo would be the 3rd of july. 3 days before af. It is normal to test right before af? I am not sure I can wait that long! I don't have ic's either. I have one digital! And boxes of (like 6) frer's.
I did one tonight because I just couldn't wait. I needed to get it out of my system!

I cant hang out till AF comes, some ladies wait until after AF hasnt shown...It really is down to personal preference, and when you are ready to POAS! But the closer to AF you do test, the more chance you will have of getting an accurate result... (Aka, IF you are UTD, you dont get false negatives because its too early)

FRER can pick up a pregnancy at around 8dpo, but you need to have implanted early for that to happen....Generally implantation occurs around 6-12dpo, then it takes a couple of days for the hcg to be detected in the urine at levels high enough to give a BFP. Of course, sometimes implantation can happen a day or so outside of those times, and some womens hcg rises quicker (twins/multiples??) Its just a general rule.

But hey, whats reccomended, and what we do are 2 different things!! I went through 40 ICs in 2 months, plus some FRER.....Id start testing from 7dpo with ICs, a couple of times a day just incase i caught it as it rose enough to be detected......lol

    Morning ladies!

Hoping you catch that egg this week shadow.

Sorry to hear of some eminent AFs about to show.

13dpo today and still nothing - hoping shadow that the implantation took a little longer...hmm. Starting to get a little disappointed that we will have to enter our sixth month since our last loss which was due in August.

Not feeling pregnant or not pregnant - did have a breakout for the first time all month yesterday though and my skin hasn't changed which is usually does from implantation. It usually breaks out just before/around AF.

Though, we have never got a BFP early and this is still giving me hope - even with our strongest and best pregnancy - it didn't show up for a loooong time after AF was due. I'd given up hope until talking to a friend and realised how overdue I was! I have been feeling 'heavy' for days but not sure if it's pregnancy or AF getting ready. Fell asleep at 9:15pm last night too. Why on earth do we symptom spot???!!!

I think the fact that it is raining here AGAIN today, really isn't helping!

As for me, I'm baaaaack! Had a miscarriage last night at 5+3. Was kinda expecting it because I POAS on Saturday and the line was really faint. For next round I have learnt so many things! Mainly: don't POAS every five seconds, stop googling things, stop obsessing.
    What will happen will happen.

Anyway the doc said we can start again as soon as we like so I might be able to squeeze in to July.

Looking forward to seeing some more BFPs in the remaining 4 days!!
    Sorry to hear elswyth :-(
Big hugs! You are being v strong!!!
    See u in July

Ouch, that sounds awful butterfly! If mine had lasted more than one night I would have died. I thought it was going to go on for days... thank god it didn't! I am lucky I didn't need to go to hospital though. Yikes indeed.

Elswyth - I am sorry. I applaud your positivity. There is always a positive - at least you know you can fall pregnant. Fingers crossed for the next one.
I totally agree Loved Already. That is a blessing for me. Thanks.
