Glad I wasn't seeing it totally irrationally. I don't even eat lamb either! Her mum keeps messaging me now asking if I'm good for the lamb chops as she needs to finish organising catering. I am still shocked she was so rude to me considering I have met her maybe twice!

Daenerys, I hope you get the answers from the blood test soon. Maybe implantation was late?

Mum2b, sorry to hear AF arrived! I hope that your second cycle is your lucky cycle. My 'diet' is always starting tomorrow. Hehe.

MrsKnowles, it's not over until AF shows!

Becca, that is terribly rude. I just had a baby shower held at my place, although I wasn't the host. I was helping out by providng the venue. The most I was asked to do was bake some biscuits and organise one game. 40 lamb chops is way over the top. Especially as you aren't the host. Let us know what happens.

As for me, I'm keen to do a 10dpo test tomorrow. I hope I get a BFP...

    DaenerysT & Mrsknowles,

I so hope you have better news coming your way. Do let us know how you get on.Mum2be - hoping July is your month.

10dpo and a bfn here this morning - checked it like 20 times just hoping. Wasn't surprised though as I've never got a bfp early. CD33 sounds familiar - so 15dpo. I think the whole placebo effect of possibly being pregnant is in full swing though - soooo hungry and tired with a heavy feeling. Someone even told me I looked tired yesterday. Got to the point that I devoured nearly a whole packet of sakatas this afternoon and I haven't touched crackers for a month!

Here I was telling everyone else to get their packets of hpts ready - who do you think it was wrestling to get the plastic wrap off the outer box this morning - hilarious...especially when you really, really need to go!

WHAT?!? Lamb chops at a baby shower - BYO food AND a gift?!? This is the most crazy thing I've heard, lamb chops aren't cheap either!!! Think I'd post the gift instead and not go to the baby shower.

I'm serious. It seems like she's lost the plot. Lamb chops at a baby shower??? Unless there are 200 people coming or it's for some kind of game (which would be a terrible waste) I just don't see how they could be necessary. Then to top it off she offers a lamb payment plan. WTF??? She's on the bus to crazy town if you ask me.

Just out of curiosity I'm off to the woolies site to find out how much you would be up for...back soon.

Okay...it's $9 a kilo sold in at least 1.3kg packs at around $11-$12. Anyone buy lamb and know how many in a tray. I too am not a buyer - no idea.
If people are spending so much on the catering, the poor mum-to-be isn't going to end up with much as far as gifts go.

Love the "Lamb payment plan". Hope the girl's day isn't ruined by her mum's catering fiasco!

I thought I saw a 9 pack of lamb chops for $23 there not cheap. Whatever happened to good old party pies?
