Don't stress love, you've got all these women here to share the test excitement with - guys are logical creatures, one test = result Don't be too harsh on him, he sees it differently to you and you don't want to push him away when he's confused at this critical junction in your parenting journey together. Work with him, be patient, you'll have heaps of time in the first few weeks of newborn sleep deprivation to bite each other's heads off over silly things ;D

Yep, you can easily get some GPs like this - I don't know how they retain their medical license - at least you didn't get the birds and bees lecture like I did off a doctor (mine was overseas at the time)! Unfortunately for me I was right with what I told her I thought it was - pity she had no idea. Hoping you didn't have to pay her! There should be an easier way of reporting really bad medical practice.

And he said, 'it's only going to tell us what we already know' and I said, okay, don't worry about it, go away, and he said why are you being so silly?
And I said why are you being so hurtful?
He said he wasn't, he just 'doesn't know why we keep buying all these tests'
I told him he wasn't buying anything, and to **** off.

He's got no idea how terrifying this is.

I want to use the digitals as a way of giving myself piece of mind that the levels are rising.

We are all very excited for you. Perhaps it will feel a little more real for him in a few months...or eight
