Default HELP: Fancy dress theme: Dress Adventurously

Host later said "cant decide whether to wear Latex or Goretex"
I am at a loss... I can dress as anything from a traveller to a non existent skirt!

I'm thinking Pocahontas (except I'm blond hair/blue eyes!)
I have an ok figure and hate looking like i'm wearing a sack... I like my skirts to be just above the knee (not thigh high LOL)

I also have an Alice in Wonderland theme b'day to go to the following week... so one costume to match both parties would be awesome!!

    Indiana Jones!

And then Alice or the Queen of Hearts. Doesn't matter if they're all dressed as that. At our Halloween party last year we had heaps of Alices and Queens of Hearts (even though it was a 'general' theme), but every costume was different. Some were traditional versions, some 'evil', and some on the saucy side

    Or...

    Adventure costumes:

    Indiana Jones (as above)
    Lara Croft

    Alice costumes:

    Mad Hatter
    Alice
    Queen of Hearts
    Cheshire Cat
    A tea cup
    The caterpillar
    A playing card
    White rabbit
    Alice's cat

Ooh - actually, you could be Puss in Boots as an adventurer, and then Alice's cat, with just a few tweaks...

Lara Croft was my first thought when reading the title of the thread. Ive done it before just using my normal clothes and a couple of DPs socks to stuff the bra with I also used velcro for the gun holders on the thighs...got a roll of it from a $2 shot and threaded it through the back of gun holsters taken out of a cop set (also bought at the $2 shop)

For the Alice party, go as the rabbit...nobody goes as the rabbit! (but make it look good and not sack like White pants and shirt, tailcoat, pocket watch, ears and tail..cute! Oh, try get one of those beanie hats with the paws included..like this but better http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/OTA4WDU1MQ...MBg~~60_35.JPG ) Im trying to think how a white suit can be adventurous so you can wear it for both haha Colonel Sanders adventurous?

Door mouse for the Alice in wonderland
( he was one of the mad hatters tea party guests)

And you could use the mouse and be the great mouse detective
