Big hugs Torie. Sucks that you are having such a intense stressful thing happen when you were starting to move forward x

I would recommend firstly letting your Drs know about the increased stress so they can discuss ways to track your physical responses to the emotional stress. Are they aware of your background? If you are dilating they need to know x

Apologies if you said you are already doing this but prehaps you can link with a counsellor specialising in DV... the issues you are experiencing would be similar to those DV counsellors support (even though its not your current relationship)

    Xx

Thanks Dancing for the reply, it means a lot xo

You are right, I will ring the hospital, physician, ob, cardiologist and let them know Monday what has happened.

I hope there is something to keep baby girl safe while I work through this with my psychologist and my specialists need all my information.

My GP knows a little about my past, my new friends don't and the hospital just know there was a previous DV situation but not to the extent it was. Time to book some long consult appointments I think lol

After I read your reply I rang the DV line like you suggested that put me on to Victims Support Services that will put in a 'security pack' at the house we live in free of charge, put extra police patrols on my street and around the kids schools and they are now my contact medium to the parole board so if I see him on the peninsula I ring police and victims services so they get the warrant immediately to put him back in jail.

Have a great day and weekend everyone, I'm choosing to

That sounds like a massive load - on top of everything else.
You are going to have to take control of some things - this may help reduce your stress - ringing the help line will assist with taking control.
Stress has a really negative effect upon pregnancy hormones. If you are already 'dilated' you are in a very high risk situation - I would definitely follow this up.
During my first pregnancy I was in an extremely highly stressful situation - that I won't go into here...and yep - labour at 23w. Straight into hospital for 10weeks of rest....including 2weeks of bed rest, plus drugs to stop the labour.
Draw on the strength of your family and friends...and seek medical advice.
Needless to say, during this pregnancy I am drawing definite 'lines in the sand' and there are things I just will not take on...
Take care of you and your family GF...

    Hey girls.

How is your week starting off?
I hope you are all staying warm.

22 weeks now here! My bump is growing crazy. Starting to get alot of 'helpful' comments from everyone who has seen a baby before. From what we have bought, my belly shape/size and our upcoming patenting style (how dare we consider booking a holiday when bub will be 5mths old). I am learning to let it all be like water off a ducks back but its hard right now.

On an exciting note we picked up our nursery furniture on the weekend... and put it up as was so excited lol.Very early I know but it was heaps of fun!!!! I find myself wandering into the room quite often so will need to close the door soon!!

How is everyone feeling? I am.getting a fair bit of rib/back pain at night now. A hot pack or warm bath helps but will see a physio next week for some massage x

Bit of bad news for me today I got gastro yesterday and because of the pressure in my bowl from dirrear don't know hoe to spell it grr any way because of that I'm now 3cm dilated with bulging membranes
Contractions have slowed down from the medicine they have given me and if all is well in the morning they will do a survival stitch
