    WOOOHOOO
unscheduled ultrasound...had to go for an USS of another body part, and the tech said - 'want to see your little one?' - are you freaking kidding me?!!
Of course I said yes, and there it was - so damn cute! Yawning, then sucking thumbs...sigh - too long to go!

Awesome Nayez We are doing a late 28 week 3D scan and I can't wait to see our princess again

I know nothing about carriers either. I have never used one but will be reading along to find out whats good as I want to try one this time around. It would be so much easier to do things with two hands!

Hi Waiting, I will be going to the Mawson Lakes one. It is close to me and I used to wish and pray I would be able to go there one day when we drove past it almost everyday or ate at the Nando's next door.

Hi gorgeous ladies, sorry for the me post that is about to come. I need to vent and need advice.

****Could be a trigger for anyone with previous sexual assault history.

I'm am extremely worried about our little baby and the remainder of my pregnancy. I have had 2 post intercourse bleeds in the last three weeks with the last one a week ago where I lost about 50 - 100 mls of fresh bright blood. I was lectured on Tuesday, 5 days after, about my susceptibility to preterm labor in my 'circumstances' and not attending hospital at the time but at the time I knew it was not labor (no contractions, pain, illness etc) I have since had some tightening and firm BH contractions which the DR noted on my file.

So things are not all hunky dory ATM.

Yesterday I got a call from the parole board that the man who locked me in a house for 12 years when I was a teenager (14 to 26 years old) and raped and tortured me with his friend was granted parole after only 3 years of jail time. He is unfortunately my 4 kids sperm donor and they were conceived in rape and born into those conditions. This 'man' has caused me endless pain and has used the kids/courts etc to stay in my life and torment me. When the police profiled him for the trial they said to the judge that sentenced him that this 'man' will never stop pursuing me by any means necessary till one of us dies. I am not his only victim but I was the longest and the one he conditioned to his sick fetishes the most (yes this happens in Australia)

My older 2 kids are not at home so are safe. My youngest son, 13, has autism and remembers all the abuse of him, his sisters, his brother and me. My youngest daughter, 14, has told this 'man' to never talk to her again, she hates him etc and has been abused by him too.

In the past he has kidnapped the kids for over a month at a time and rang me everyday to tell me what torture he was going to do to them. Just over a year ago I was moved into state housing by the CIB due to his threats for my life made indirectly from jail.

I have to tell the kids he will be released any day after the 20th of July on parole which will shatter them, their confidence, their enjoyment of their talents, performances and sports.

I cant tell me family yet as it's everyone's birthdays at the moment, Grandpa's is today, mum's 60th on Monday, nephew same day as mum, bro in law on the 10th, dad on the 15th etc (and that's just the next 10 days, it's my birthday in July too)

What can I do, if anything to stop preterm labor from stress? I'm at risk with this pregnancy because of having surgery on my cervix where they removed 2 cm's due to a close call with cancer 10 years ago. I got through all 4 previous pregnancies under high stress with being abused too with no preterm labor but I was very young and fit.

I'm terrified of internals and hospitals due to my past (but I got through 2 lots of IVF). I did my own internal in the bath last night and found myself to be slightly dilated but only 0.5cm. I learnt how to do my own internals when I was 16, 18, 20, 21 years old as this 'man' would not let me go to hospital to be checked in case they found out what he was doing. I'm so worried about internals that I tend to avoid going to hospital if I think they may do that.

Please don't pity me, yes I've had a hard life and suffered horrendous treatment in my past but I'm a strong woman who needs some advice on how to keep my hubby's and my first baby together safe and inside me for at least another 10 weeks. (hubby considers my kids his and very passionately too lol)

Does stress increase the chance of preterm labor? Do I need to notify the OB at hospital of my increased stress? Anyone have some calming techniques that really work?

Hope everyone else is happy, healthy and well xo

BTW on a happier note, to stop the itchy baby bumps and dry skin, grab some full cream milk powder from the supermarket and add it to your bath. It works a treat. My kitty had a bath with me last night (I had no choice as she was coming in if I liked it or not) and while floating on her back she was lapping up the milky water lol! I love my Lil lilac oriental kitty, she makes me laugh and her fur is so so so soft today like my skin. P.S. don't forget to rinse after wards so the milk on your skin doesn't go off or smell
