    woo hoo!
congrats torie on your little girl!
Our labours could not have been more different - only because I laboured alone formost of it as noone (not even me) thought I was in labour
It was a rude shock when I finally said something and then felt like pushing!
Ooops - my partner arrived with only 3mins to spare - I WAS STILL FULLY DRESSED AND SHE WAS CROWNING!!!
family - I have a toddler at home who I am the primary carer for - I had never even spent one night away from her and then spent 4 in hospital!!!
it has been challenging since I have been home - not because she doesn't love Luella being there - only because she is having to wait for things now.
Her behavior is still good - just amplified - I am writing this really tired - but my girls are both fed and bathed and asleep peacefully by 8pm - ahhhh satisfied.

Congratulations Torie , QLOULOU motherhood sure is great. Huge learning curve for me and DH and totally exhausted but love it. Just wish my labour had gone a lot better, it was quite painful for me and scary due to bubs heart rate dropping. I felt so scared as didn't know what was happening as happened so quick. I'm actually feeling a bit traumatized hoping it wears off soon as would love another bub in near future.

Oh clucky..it sounds like you were in great hands.
each labour is different, and it does not mean that next time will be anything like that.
It sure is Scary though when you feel so out of any kind of control of that sort of situation.
You should talk it over with your MCH nurse a your first visit...or with your Dom nurse...try not to let it take over your thoughts too much.

Oh Clucky, like Nayez said every labor is different and in time you will forget the pain of it and be back on the IVF roller coaster again, trying for your next precious bubs. There are plenty of of people out there and agencies that really care about your experience and your feelings on it. There is ample help with birth trauma and other post natal feelings if you reach out to them.
