Thanks ladies!!! I def want to do the daytime part but agree I will skip the boat trip. My concern is that I will feel horrible and not be able to leave (& everyone else will be drinking!!!)

You have to be strong and look after yourself. I was meant to go to a work night function weeks ago on a Friday night and after working all week was absolutely buggered It took me days before to work up the courage to say i wasnt going but I did it I stuck to my decision and just said I couldn't make it I was too exhausted and would be no fun anyway. To be honest I think I would have fallen asleep at the dinner table I copped some flack off a couple of people but just stuck to what I decided , the others all understood.

I hear we have monthly compulsory after work meetings and recently with the end of fin year- balls, parties and a conference in Mexico etc. As a manager its compulsory I attend, but not compulsory how long I stay! I have been getting a bit of the whole "not having team spirit" but stuff them. My health and my baby is more important than work and watching my colleagues getting ****ed.

    How is every-one?
I'm doing well. 27 weeks now! Yay! I have a scan next Thursday to check my placenta has moved up. Fingers crossed it has. It will be nice to get another scan done any-way! I love seeing bub! Yay. We are also doing an antenatal class together on the following week-end. So im pretty excited about that!
