    Default Lunches at work

    HI!
I am 7 weeks pregnant and struggling with lunches at work (also did when I was pregnant with DD).

An example - yesterday I bought in rice, vege and tuna but ended up having HJ's. Today was going to eat the lunch from yesterday and ended up getting osmething from the cafe.

It's just not appealing to me! Anyone have some yummy nutrious lunch suggestions?

What about taking a sandwich toaster to work and making different sandwiches each day and toasting them? Great for cold weather and you can put anything on them.

Check out the fatmumslim blog for her slow cooked chicken soup. I made a huge batch and froze it in portions to take to work. Yum yum!

Try making wraps with chicken and Veges and toast them or vege pastas and things like that

I went through this! The stress of what to eat/make for lunch at work, especially when you don't want colleagues to know your pregnant =)

I do a shop at the start of the week, keep it in the work fridge & then make salads, toast, toasted sandwiches/wraps, soups. I also buy fruit, nuts, yoghurt, juice etc so that I don't have to go out hunting for food & then having naughty stuff. Also try to cook extra when I can to cover lunches for the next day.

It all has to do with how much time you got to prepare food at home, I like the recipes provided in the slimnation website (http://www.slimnation.com.au/recipes)

Healthy food doesn't have to be complicated or anything like that, just choose wisely.
