I was gobsmacked when I saw this on the news this morning. I mean, seriously? Just, wow.

Disgusting. He should be fired! If this was Africa, Sattler would have been executed.

Regardless of my political views they are not questions you ask anyone!

She was so much calmer than I would have been!

The lack of respect shown to our pm and these constant sexist and inappropriate slurs have to stop. I don't know how anyone can say this is humerous or ok.
Its long overdue for us to stand up and say enough is enough, like the person or not but we won't stand for this behaviour. Anyone in a private workplace would be sacked. So should this i*iot.
Lets bring so respect back to the office of pm.

It's absolutely disgraceful. I really have no other words, I'm truly disgusted with how much disrespect our PM has been subjected to. And it is because she is a woman, there is no doubt in my mind that that is why.

I would find it inappropriate if a radio host questioned anybody like this.

None of our business what their relationship is like. None whatsoever. And it should have no bearing on what we think of her as a PM either.

Very inappropriate! Whether you like the current PM or not you don't disrespect some one in her position of power like that (or anyone for that fact.)

    It's disgusting really.

My DH met her a few years ago and said she was actually really lovely and cracked lots of jokes despite how much he can't stand the party she's leader of hehe

I don't like the PM but I feel so sorry that all these things keep happening to her. That interview was disgusting and he had no right to ask those questions. Same with the sandwich throwing, seriously terrible behaviour.

Where is the respect for the position she holds?! She's the Prime Minister of Australia, our countries leader, regardless of whether you like her or not, she deserves respect.

Ugh Howard Satler is so revolting (racist, xenophobic, sexist, you name any it...). He always has been, but apparently has been much worse lately - he has Parkinson's and has had a stroke and apparently his cognitive decline is really obvious lately (to the point where my speech pathology students listened to him on the radio as a case study!)

Agree with all PPs! I feel so awful for Julia, the lack of respect shown towards our PM is so embarrassing, I wonder what other countries think of us?!
