    Default 3 Car Seats - Nissan X-Trail 2004 Model

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone has 3 car seats in a Nissan X-Trail? What models are these? We currently have a SNS Meridian and a SNS Maxi-Rider (we know we have to replace this for a slimmer model). We won't be ready for any booster seats to begin with because DS1 won't be quite 4 years old and he is quite petite so could stay in a FF car seat for quite a bit longer before going into a booster.

We would have the Meridian Rear Facing and then need 2 slimmer car seats to fit.

    Thanks

It might be a squeeze to get a 3-across combo that includes the Meridian.
You could try the Meridian with an Infa Kompressor and Maxi Rider Easy Adjust.

The Infa Kompressors are the slimmest and most compact 0-4 years seats - but also have high height markers for rear facing (as high as the Meridian) and forward facing.
The new Maxi Rider Easy Adjusts are slimmer and also taller than the Maxi Rider AHRs. They have higher height markers too so your child could stay in the inbuilt harness for longer.

It might be a better fit to sell both the Meridian and your Maxi Rider and get 2 Infa Kompressors for your newborn and 1-year-old and a Maxi Rider Easy Adjust. I've seen 2 x Kompressors and a MREA fit in a X-trail.

If you sold your MR and Meridian you would probably recoup a fair bit of the outlay for 3 new seats.

Thanks for the reply... Is the infa kompressor mentioned the XT version or the Caprice... There is a big price difference between the two models... Thanks

The Kompressor range (XT, Crowne and Caprice) are all essentially the same seat - same size, dimensions, and height marker locations.

Only the fabrics, amount of padding and fabric colors are different.

The Infa website will explain this:
