    The menu is repulsive.

But unfortunately if it was the work of the restaurant staff and the Liberal members didn't know about it, the damage has already been done.

What about your thoughts on Labor speechwriter, Bob Ellis's comments from last week:

All this is delusional anyway. Abbott’s character flaws, and his connection with pederasts, and his habit of f***ing girls while dressed as a priest, will do for him I think, and bring back the Undecideds, and Labor will win with 39 percent or 40, and 52 percent twi party preferred.
    http://www.ellistabletalk.com/

Unlike the menu guy, he is not a volunteer. He is paid by the Labor party.

It is not a once off either. This is from a post of his yesterday:

Abbott, dressed as a priest and rooting parishioners will not affect the women’s vote, Van Onselen insists. Gee, that’s logical.
But what would I know, I'm just a bloke in a blue tie.

    What about this one?
    hawkestrip_thumb.jpg

Did any of you get up in arms and offended by any of these?

Again, I am a man in a blue tie, so don't take it against me.

How anyone can connect this to Abbott amazes me. Let us all blame everything on Abbott! He is obviously so evil.
It isn't about 'Left' or 'Right'.

It is deeply offensive and sexist. It is also about the Prime Minister of Australia, a position that should be respected despite our personal feelings about the office bearer.

Everyone should be offended by it.

I am convinced that if Mal Brough hadn't known about it, he wouldn't have apologised. Nor would Abbott. No politician from any party in our current political climate would acknowledge something and apologise if they could get away with pleading ignorance.

I find it awfully convenient that this fake menu, which was made in March, only surfaces today, despite Gillard's office being forwarded the picture months ago.

I wonder if the creator of the menu was wearing a blue tie, he would be pure evil!

Actually, yes. But I presume that it's not a member of the Labor party under that mask.

This thread isn't about suggesting that there have been no other offensive acts in our political climate. Including that picture doesn't devalue or justify the offensiveness of the menu. In fact, and I presume you are a Right voter, I believe you should be offended and outraged that this is part of the culture of a party that I imagine you would like to lead this country and represent your views.

Believe it or not, I do know that just because something appears on facebook doesn't make it so. But cheers.

Well it was writen, and formatted and was obviously printed. Who cares if an adviser poo-poo'd it before it landed on the table, they still had the terrible taste, direspect and poor judgement to write it in the first place.
This suggested you still suggested it had been endorsed by the libs.
