Chicken/Tuna Mornay which I made tonight.

    Recipe is:

2 quarter wing sections from Woolies (I got to eat skin, stuffing and wings...lol)
200g shell pasta (or any pasta)
    50g butter
    1 onion
1 cup mixed veg (the only time i use frozen of corn, peas, onion, celery, capsicum)
    1/4 cup flour
    2 cups milk
    1 cup grated cheese
    2 tblspoons dijon mustard
    salt n pepper to taste

    Cook pasta according to packet.
Chop chicken in bite size pieces
    Melt butter
Add onion and frozen veg until heated through and soft
Add flour ans stir until well coated
Add milk a half of cup at a time
Add mustard, cheese, salt and pepper
    Mix well
Add chicken and pasta and mix well
Put into baking dish and top with a little extra cheese
Bake in oven for about 25 minutes.

So quick, easy and tasty. It's a Julie Goodwin recipe. It's actually a tuna mornay recipe, but I use chicken too...

Fresh ravioli is my go-to super fast meal. It takes 5 minutes to boil the pasta, then the kids eat it with just cheese and dh & eat add pasta sauce that we heated in the microwave. Super easy & super fast.

    Tuna pasta is another favourite:
    1. Cook pasta
    2. Put cooked pasta (just cooked) into an oven dish, add pasta sauce, can of drained tuna, sliced mushrooms, diced capsicum (you can get it in cans for those days when you can't be bothered to cut it up!), small can of sweetcorn.
    3. Put oven dish in the oven and cook for 15 - 20 minutes at 180, or put it in the microwave cooking for 1 - 2 minutes at a time until all ready (probably will take around 5 minutes).
(can put in cooked, shredded chicken instead of tuna)

Wrap a salmon fillet up in foil with some soy sauce drizzled on it, bake in oven for 15 mins. Serve with steamed veg or salad.

    Chargrilled veg pasta.

Mushrooms, red capsicum, zucchini and baby spinach (anything really), grilled in the fry pan with some olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper.

Then add to cooked pasta of your choice and top with a sprinkle of mozza cheese. Easy as.
