Good idea to have it checked out mumzy, I had ovary pains on clomid this cycle but only for about 2 days around ovulation time, nothing when actually taking the tabs. Hope all is ok x

This is my first round of Clomid. Usually my periods are 5-9 days long. Never in my life have I had an AF last less than 5 days. This one has stopped dead in its tracks after day 3!?!?!? Nothing even when I wipe, not a speck, just gone. Does anyone else have shorter AF on Clomid? Don't know whether to be concerned or relieved!

that's completely normal rebecca. Mine always was 5-6 days on the dot with normal flow until the last day which was spotting (so 4-5 days of medium flow). With clomid it's only 2-3 days of bleeding then 2 days of spotting. I love it! lol it's bc when you start at day 2 you are putting your estrogen levels into overdrive to develop follies very early. So your body is sensing this and stopping the bleeding to start on the ovulatory period.

Thanks Del that's helpful. It's a whole new world to me! Well, I shall enjoy the shorter AF then :-)

Back from fs, ovaries look fine on u/s, no fluid or cysts so they can't explain the pain I'm getting. Two days down, 3 to go :-)

This is my first clomid cycle too and I've noticed that today ( day 3) bleeding is starting to lighten up .
I'm not sure if this has been posted, sorry if it has, but I was googling to see when one should begin bd when on clomid and found this
