Usually getting 2 sets of pos OPK's just means the body tries to ovulate, can't, then tries again. I wouldn't say that clomid gives a false positive as such. It could be that the follies aren't quite mature, or your body just can't push over the edge. But like I said, I had that happen pretty much every month without clomid.

    Thanks Delirium

I have one of the digital ovulation testers and had been using that prior to being on clomid and all I got was high fertility reading but no ovulation that is when I went to a FS.

First round of Clomid seemed to work but wasn't quiet there with only one follicle. Doing 2nd round of Clomid in about a week or so and will see what results get this time around.

I'll also try testing with OPK's this next time I was having scans with FS throughout too.

I hope it works for you this cycle if you are only on 50mg 1 or 2 is the norm. I have unmonitored cycles, but know my body well. First month I know I had a big one on each ovary, 2nd month only the right, 3rd the same again. So I'm hoping 100mg will produce a few more and give DHss boys more targets to aim at. I'm hoping on that dosage I get 2 rupture instead of 1.

Thank you so much for all the info its so helpful speaking with others who have done it.

Yes FS said that since my AMH levels were quite high that taking clomid more than 50mg may over stimulate so we are starting with the 50mg how ever the follicles didn't quite mature so will see how we go this round before increasing the dosage.

We got our BFP this morning! 4th month of clomid. Still early at 10dpo (usually I get nothing before 14dpo), so DH is trying to keep me grounded - yeah...right!

Woohoo Shelby! I hope it all goes smoothly for you, sending lots of positive vibes your way!

Teeja I'm sure to can find someway to convince him

Mysticme I know how you feel! I live in rural Vic and Gyn is in Melb. I've seen him once so I get 3 months worth of scripts, take them, D21 bloods locally and call him for results! That's if I can get through to him So frustrating. Wish I could have ultrasounds to check the follicles etc and regular path work.
