    Default child nearly dies from tetanus

    Don't know if anyone had seen this article. ...

    http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/...06/3776327.htm

    Love the message these parents are now spreading about the importance of vaccines.

    It's horrible that something like this happened to make them realise the impotence of vaxxing. Good on them for being honest and speaking out.

    I agree. I'm glad there was a happy end and that their son is okay. Also that they got all vaccines done for their kids straight away for preventable diseases too.

    I'm just going to say it. .. sometimes I wish anti vax people were allowed to visit kids in hospital like that boy or babies with whooping cough or children with measles. .. might open their eyes to how awful it is.

    @tamtam-

    was reading an anti vax thing a few weeks ago and there were parenys saying things like ' i could watch a baby die of whooping cough and still not feel guilty of my decision not to vax' some of these people are heartless and just dont care. It would be good if they could see that decisions not to vax is the descision that means tge life of their child... Or themselves.

    each to their own tho, unfortunately.

    For real? I cannot believe that. I've spent quite a bit of time in the children's hospital since my dd was born six months ago. I challenge anyone to stand in my shoes and turn a blind eye to what I've seen. Wow.
