Okay I'm super forgetful lately but I think I remember you saying that you have pcos. In which case opks aren't always reliable.

Becca that's what I had the other day, bd'd then had more.

Was trying to abstain but alas my hormones got the better of me!

have lots of tradies come into work & a few hotties in the warehouse behind our office that come in/out. nearly had to superglue my pants on!
Love it Mumma K! I o'd last Tuesday and happened to be out at a café with three girlfriends AND there were a lot of good looking men around...I couldn't help but notice! I pointed a few out to one of my friends in quite an inappropriate manner and then explained that I was ovulating and couldn't help it! She's still paying me out, but could also empathise!!!

Often women with PCOS have difficulty ovulating, so the body has several attempts sometimes. OPKs pick up LH (lutenising hormone) surge which occurs just before ovulation. If your body doesn't ovulate the first time, there will be more LH surges in it's attempt to do so.

So shouldn't that mean I would get several different positives??

Yes. It would detect the LH surge several times. So just keep BDing every 2nd day because the first surge may not be the one that you ovulate on.

Oh cool. I think I'll still use the opks for now. Last cycle I didn't get a pos opk at all. I would rather a few pos over no pos.

Update for me - 6dpo & still sick with cold yesterday marked 6 days of heavy congestion & only being able to breathe through my mouth (not fun!)

Went to see my doc last night, and now on antibiotics as I've got sinusitis & the onset of bronchitis woohoo! Not!

Although I'm hoping my lowered immune system let those spermies have free passage to my eggy without any defensive cm declaring battle on them & also that all my cold symptoms are taking my mind off symptom spotting for a possible BFP! We shall wait & see, and pray pray pray!
