It's been great reading the birth stories! I'm personally very pro epidural. I personally think its a humane way of having a baby. If you have a migraine you take Panadol, you need a filling or a tooth extraction, you get a local. No one would say no I want to prove how tough I am pull my tooth out without pain meds or nope I'm going to ride out this slipped disc in my back without something to help. That's just my opinion. Why go through hell when you don't have to? I know soo many women see it as part of women hood but I assure you when they have period pain they run for the pain killers.

Anyway heids how's your bfp coming along and Shadow I have my fingers crossed you join her?

Last night I tried to woo dh and he wasn't into it and then finally came clean and said look I'm sorry but there is a baby in there kicking around and can hear what's going on. I am NOT comfortable with this at all and I can't do it WTF!! It's going to be a very long LONG 20 weeks!! Has anyone had this before? He was saying we wouldn't have sex in front of our kids and this is the same situation, I tend not to agree!!

I agree drugs were made for a reason and dammit i want my drugs lol, I'm not out to prove to anyone I am a hero.

Sorry to hear about DH, so when he decides he really wants a bit of fun he has noone to blame but himself. Hopefully he changes his mind and you get a lil action before you get any bigger and it becomes more uncomfortable.

Penis goes in vagina, baby goes in wooooomb. Two seperate positions in the body. As much as he probably likes to think he's well endowed, I don't think he's in Rasputin's league (13.2inches).

    Pooooor Disney!!!

I told DH last week that when he gives me a back rub, it makes me feel good and therefore bub will feel good too. Same goes for bd...mum gets a lovely surge of hormones & is more relaxed afterwards and so is bub.

I don't like taking drugs so try to avoid them (ie. Paracetamol etc) when I can...I'm so fortunate that I've never had bad period pain though. I have some friends who couldn't get by without painkillers when they have af, it sucks.

Epidural is definitely a personal choice. I don't know why people think going drug-free during childbirth is essential/important. Its a choice you make for yourself. Only you know what is right for you.

I will likely have a very drug-free birth though... as I'm having it at home but I've heard having a waterbirth can help with pain management (planning on a waterbirth...i think). So much planning to do.

I have done 3 tests and all with very very faint lines. They are impossible to photo but the lines are there I swear . Today I will hoof it to chemist warehouse to stock up on tests since I'm not entirely convinced yet.
