    Default Medical advice

Ds2 19 month has nearly finished his 2nd lot of antibiotics.

He had croup and a secondary URTi and although the redipred has worked for the croup the infection is still hanging around, in fact it's probably getting worse.

Being a sunday of a lwe in Sydney I'm not sure whether to go to a random different dr as our dr won't be open till tuesday, or should I take him to hospital.

He sounds dreadful. He's happy but this cough is definitely getting worse. He is not having trouble breathing, though his cheeks are very very flushed.

He has a thrushy nappy rash and a clear runny nose.

My main concern is that it will progress into pneumonia.

Does anyone know if this could happen? Would u take him to hospital?

He'll be going somewhere just I'm by myself with 2 kids so am second guessing myself as no fin in hospital with 2 kids.

    Thanks

Personally I would probably go straight up to hospital because I rarely am satisfied when I go to random GPs. I really hope he gets better soon, poor little darling
