Default Tips for treating hand foot and mouth

Does anyone have any tips for treating hand foot and mouth blisters on the bottom?

DS has one big blister on his tongue and has woken with quiet a few on his bottom. They look very angry and sore.

I know that there is nothing you can do to clear them up but is there something I can use to make them less sore?
    Thanks

Give nurofen every 6 hrs and pain stop 3 hrs after - if you don't have pain stop just paracetemol.
Lots of water (ice blocks sometimes appeal instead).
We had bleeding blisters on the bottom and we put Hydrozol at first then really thick sudocream.
Its a tough time, hope it clears quickly.

Poor little man I would stop using baby wipes while he has that open blister for the moment. We used to use warm water with a splash of olive oil (and cotton balls) for babies that had severe nappy rash with open wounds which worked well. You can use something like bepanthen as it is a mild antiseptic as well to stop it getting infected. I hope it clears up quick
