What worked for me was the balloon, had it inserted Wednesday night and told it may fall out early hours of morning or they would take it out in morning, break my waters then start drip, for induction-which I didn't want.

the balloon went in at 6pm, fell out in toilet in 1st ad break of offspring then he was born a few hours later at 1.15am! And I hadn't dilated at all before the balloon went in (but was effaced).

would definitely suggest it, if they'll do it at home?

Thanks Msnecb I have my fingers crossed to!

Thanks for the tip Mellybel but my midwives won't induce at home.

At this point I'm just trying to pretend I'm not pregnant and just get on with my day. Trying to stay busy and sane! Lol!

I know this probably sounds crazy but have you tried getting your groove on??? As in dance like no one is watching?? Get your older kids involved and have your own "disco" I've seen some awesome clips on you tube and have read a few accounts of how dancing led to going into labour hours later. If it doesn't then think of it as a distraction anyway xo

Yeah I have. Bub is not in the best position, back to right side. But I have tried everything to get him to move for weeks and its not working so have given up. Told hubby as of today I give up doing everything to try and get him to come. I'm done. He will be here when he will be here.
    Thanks for the idea though
