The head thing would be worth filming and showing to your quack. It may be nothing or it may be seizure related. Only saying cause I was carer for my baby 1/2 sis and was trhe one who picked up she had epilepsy

Thanks - thats a good idea about the head shaking - and when I really think about it that is probably the main thing that concerns me. Hubby is convinced she just did it one day and likes the way it makes her feel (dizzy etc) but I still worry haha.

The spectrum is so broad. I don't think you can draw a conclusion from a couple of posts.
My DS is on the spectrum and is extremely affectionate towards myself and his brother. With other people it varies.
Definitely worth getting it checked out either way.

Ok so today we had 1 of 4 appointments. The psychologist was really nice and DS1 seemed ok with her. We discussed what will happen next week at the assessment. She said she will try and assess DS1 but if he will not cooperate then we will do some type of interview. She asked if we could bring someone along in case we need to do interview as it is a very long one and so that DS1 doesn't have to sit in the room. So DH's dad is coming along to take him for a walk if needed. She also gave more forms for daycare to fill out.

Forgot to update. She tried to assess him but he didn't even look at her. He wasn't naughty just didn't engage with her at all. She tried for 15 minutes but it was clear he wasn't going to cooperate. So DS1 went with his Pop on walk to the shops up the road. We sat with the psychologist and we did a questionnaire for over an hour.

She is now in process of organising to go out to DS1 daycare to observe him. So nervous now all I want is to read her report.

How nerve wracking for you! Hope you get some answers, one way or another.

My DS1 sounds similar. He doesn't tick enough of their boxes for diagnosis but there is something clearly not quite typical. The paed says he is a 'quirky little guy'.

I have a gut feeling he won't be diagnosed because he probably doesn't tick all the boxes. Like your DS1 @2Bboys. He is becoming extremely stressful atm. Dressing him is an hour long ordeal and the temperature his food is really bothering him.

This afternoon I'm going to my doctor for help. I stopped taking my anti depressants awhile ago but the last month has been so hard. Im crying all the time and everything is so hard.
