    Baby Led Weaning by Gil Rapley - it's just such a natural way to wean, pretty much just waiting until they can handle whole food ( 6 months)
    rice cereal has only been around since the 1940,s and babies for thousands of years have coped just fine before that!

    How funny, I have been having nearly exactly the same issue with my DS2 (who is a bit over 5months) over the last week! My DS1 was loving the rice cereal by this age and was downing it no problems, but DS2 just pushes it out with his tongue and doesn't seem overly interested at all. I think i'll just give ir a break for a couple of weeks and then try again with 'real' food.
