    Default Ultrasound

That's the toughest part I find. Also the second part of the scan is internal so be prepared that they will need to put a wand inside your vj. I wasnt aware the first time I went and then they said to take my pants off and I was like what??
Thanks Butterfly that's so helpful. I had no idea about the internal exam thanks for the heads up - ugh I hate them always sore for a couple days after. Never heard of it with a wand though!! Yup they did say about full bladder too, my appt is 8am so hopefully only drinking from waking up at 6.30 will help to be less uncomfortable.
My gyno said laparoscopy is the only way to find out for endo but wanted me to do the ultrasound first just in case it picked up anything else so I was happy with that, he seems pretty thorough. If that comes back fine and no change in symptoms or falling preg by September then he said schedule in the laparoscopy, or if it gets worse go back earlier. Fingers crossed I go back for him to be my ob instead!
    thanks again for your help

    Any room for a newbie?

I have two boys, and DH and I are TTC #3, hopefully in July, he has just had a vasectomy reversal, so we are not sure if he will be well enough recovered in time to try to catch the egg this month. I am totally unsure about this whole TTC thing, both our boys were very happy surprises, so we have not ever had to track things etc. I don't even know how many DPO you start testing from? My AF in late July is due on the 28th (depending on when it arrives next week).

Looking forward to getting to know you all all and get my head around this whole thing.

Welcome to the crazy world of TTC! Hopefully you have a short stay Ask as many questions as you like. Some people can start getting positive HPT's from 9dpo but it's suggested you try and hold off until AF is due.

Ok, so depending on DH's recovery I will be testing around the 28th. The doctor said to abstain for 4 weeks, but I will O before that, so we will see..

Good luck Bake, if you already had lucky surprises with your boys hopefully you're one of the lucky ones and will fall quite easily! I'll have my fingers crossed for you and everyone else testing this month
I've just finished AF, the wait for O isn't quite as excruciating as the 2ww but it still sucks!
