    Poor baby, and mummy to I am sure you are freaking it, you need to get her to the ED right now before she gets septic, I'm not being mean or a being a know it all but trust me you do NOT want to see this get worse she needs to be assed by a dr right now

    I asked my uncle who is a paediatrician what the course of action is for a newborn with HSV (cold sores) and he said hospital immediately for IV antibiotics, they take it very seriously because it can be fatal to very young babies.
