Hello everyone. I really appreciate your concern.

Yes after the first couple of people suggested it I brought dd to ED. We've been here since around 7-8pm on May 4th.

I haven't read all the replies as the reception here just isn't up to scratch to load all the pages, so ive jumped ahead from page 8. Im guessing ive left this thread and BH open on my computer at home.

DD is on IV viral antibiotics and is looking a lot better. They took some swabs when we got here and are going to get a nasal and poo sample as well to make sure we know exactly what are dealing with. Most likely it is cold sores, but staff infection was also mentioned.

She is very clingy at the moment and cries if she thinks I'm going to our her down, which has made for some long nights, but she's actually feeding better then ever. So while she's in a bit of pain, overall I think she's ok.

Heading back to try and read everyone's replies now.

Get well soon little one!! Make sure you look after yourself too OP, I know it's hard but don't be afraid to ask your friends and family for help, even with the small stuff.

Thinking I will just come on BH next time I need medical advice!
