Default Nasty baby acne around mouth

My lo has really nasty acne around her mouth. I know it will eventually go away by itself, but in the mean time it's so close to her mouth that it is hurting her to bf.

Is there anything I can do to help her?

Are you sure it's baby acne? Have you seen a dr?

Poor bub I hope it goes away soon.

Oh your poor DD that looks really nasty. Have you had it looked at? I'd be concerned about a staff infection. We're you in hospital long when you had her?

That looks like foot & mouth disease to me. I could be wrong. Are there any inside the mouth?? See a Dr ASAP!

Oh gosh. That doesn't look like baby acne at all. Definitely go and get it looked at.

Hmmm I was thinking hand foot and mouth as well. Easy for her to have caught if you've had other kids around (cousins etc) who've been kissing or touching bub. It is absolutely rife through my nieces daycare at the moment
