    Default Can you vac early?

My son is 4 on the 10th of aug, my council has a 4 year old pj party vax day, I remember getting mine done there, so the dates they have are the 30th of July or the 30th of October

Can he get the vax 10 days before he is 4 or will we have to wait till oct?

I'd say it should be fine 10 days before. As its close to 4. I'm pretty sure I had my ds done a week before. But if at all concerned contact your vax clinic and ask.

You better check with then on this. I have been told you can vax later but not earlier.

I dont see why 10 days would make any difference?

DD got vaxxed at 6 weeks instead of 8 because there was an outbreak of whooping cough at the time.

But definitely check with your Dr. All the best

I took DS to be vaxxed at least 4 weeks before he turned 4. I doubt it makes a difference.

Our child health nurse said DD could get her 4yo immunisations from 3-1/2, because we're going away...

My friend just had her DS's 4yr old vacs done and he isn't 4 until the end of August. I thought it was odd but obviously it doesn't matter.

I think it depends on your health service provider. I also got told later was ok but not earlier.
