Default Student Midwife in North East Melbourne seeking Pregnant women

Hello, My name is Bronwyn and I am a 1st year student midwife at the Australian Catholic University in Melbourne. As part of my course I am required to follow 20 pregnant women on their childbearing journey. If you are under 35 weeks pregnant and would like to participate I would love to hear from you. Some information follows regarding the Continuity of Care Experience :

'Continuity of Care Experience' means the ongoing midwifery relationship between the student and the women from the initial contact in pregnancy through to the weeks after giving birth.

Being involved in the program provides an opportunity for you to share your pregnancy journey with, and be supported by, a Bachelor of Midwifery student.

The aim is to build a professional friendship by interacting with you, simply talking to you about being pregnant and hearing about the decisions you have made during pregnancy, birth and the postnatal time.

By accompanying you to appointments or classes, the student learns by observing other health care professionals, engage with women, share information and perform health assessments.

I would love to hear from anyone who may be interested in taking part, it is completely free and confidential.
