    Default How do you de-stress?

    As the title says, how do you de-stress after work/parenting/study/housekeeping, in the small amount of alone time you might get after everything else?

    I like reading but end up on Facebook and watching tv which can be stressful anyway, so I'm trying to change that.

    I go to the gym three days a week, swim two days a week with the kids. Otherwise I de-stress with a glass of wine :-)

    On an ordinary day I watch TV, maybe have a glass of wine, surf FB or Bubhub.

    On rare occasions when things are super stressful I go get a massage, a hair cut or a manicure - something like that.

    Usually with a glass of bourbon, but I've quit drinking and nothing seams to help me relax anymore. I've been just sitting in quiet, start studying next week so looking forward to that!

    I have a shower after Ds is in bed!

    Sit outside for a breath of fresh air.

    Or I love to window shop online, keeps me preoccupied and keeps my mind off whats stressing me.

    Sounds silly but sometimes I even call my mum or sister for a vent and it ends up being a light hearted conversation

    I don't have my own kids yet but, I love going for a swim after work and every other morning I go for a little jog.
    The wine is almost a daily thing now....

    Sitting in the shower. Its not very water efficient but it relaxes me and I loooove it.
