The public officers can, I'm not sure if the guards can.

I got on with ds in his prM and sat in the area near the doors ( has folding up seats and room for a pram) happens so that there was a bunch of youngsters next to us, he was hungry started to cry I got him out of his pram, lent over to get his bottle out of the nappy bag (he was still crying, uou know the norm for hungry babies) all I heard was this is how you fix this and I looked up to a aprox 16 year old boy with his hand raisd ready to smack ds. I saw red and smacked his band away and told him if laid a hand on my baby I would make sure he had no hands left to do sh!t with after. He just said whatever laughted and they all moved to the next carrage

Was the last time I ever got onto a train!

    Thats disgusting

Go to hit a tiny defenceless baby. What a hero.

Reading that has made me so mad.

I definitely look at some kids today & it scares me the direction society seems to be going BUT then I come home to my eldest son who is an awesome kid & on his way to being an amazing dad/husband/man in the future and hope he stays that way:/

im not sure what happens in the daytime, but one night on a brisbane city train, a bunch of people were put off the train at northgate and they were met by about a dozen uniformed policemen and women, paddy wagons and the whole works. Im sure someone must have contacted the police in advance, they were waiting for the train and they knew who to stop as they got off. Someone must have some power, at least at night. Marie.

I dunno, I think there have always been teenagers like that. Sounds like some of the boys I went to school with 20 years ago. There's plenty of lovely teenagers out there too.

Oh they can. Guards can certainly disembark anyone they feel is a threat.
I've seen it on quite a few occasions up here....LOL
QRail don't take any crap. The most recent incident was when I took the train to Brisbane not long ago and watched two girls who thought there were so cool smoking in the carriage. Next thing we know the doors fling open, this QRail guard walks in, confiscates the cigarettes, gets them to stand up and frog marches them out of the train.

And left them there at the station. Sucked in.

Their only option was to wait for the return train which was due 7 hours later as the next one going to Brisbane was due the next day.
