Since I'm home now we have started our nursery... DF has painted the change table and cot and he just needs to assemble it now. Once he has done that we will put our wall decals up. My glider and book shelf and in already and I have slowly been growing a collection of books and things to put on the shelf. I think the nursery will be complete before I'm 20 weeks as it keeps me busy and let's me nest.

Havent given much thought to a baby shower probably when I'm about 30-33 weeks pregnant... I don't want to be too big and uncomfortable.

It drives you crazy doesn't it?! I would be sleeping if I could but my body has different ideas!! Oh well just practice for when bub comes I have truckers bladder I don't need to get up during the night yet! Thankfully!!

How did you find having your shower at 36 weeks FTM? I'm looking forward to having something to organise while I'm off work which is why it appeals.

Rainbow I say if you know what you want or need for the nursery go ahead and do it now while you can afford to and while you have the energy. It has to be done at some stage anyhow and it is a fun part of being pregnant! We took awhile (and it's still not complete) to get organised.

How exciting your scan is in 4 days!! Look forward to seeing a pic of your lil boy

Oh and I had my baby shower when I was 35w.

Thanks for the birthday wishes...let's just hope I don't go into labour at the restaurant tonight! Haha not much chance of that happening.

Rainbow, last pregnancy I had my baby shower at 35 weeks which worked well. I wasn't too uncomfortable at that stage. 1st pregnancy we started getting furniture for the nursery at about 18 weeks then slowly worked on it over time but I didn't put bedding on the cot or wash the clothes until I was on maternity leave to give me something to do. This time we only moved into our house at 32 weeks so nursery was done in a rush but was completed by 36 weeks. Just have to add linen to the bassinet in our room which I will do today.
