An update from me. Little miss has been diagnosed with reflux. We are on anti reflux formula and what a difference!!! She vomits maybe once now whereas she would throw up up to 4-5 times over an hour after her feed. She slept 6 hours last night, woke for a feed and then went straight back to sleep for another 4 hours!

I suspected reflux yesterday as she cried all day and was arching her back a lot and the constant vomiting was a dead give away for me. Took her to my GP who agreed with me. So glad I caught it quickly as she's been like this for about a week and I didn't want it going on much longer.

My poor possum seems do much happier now

Hope you wonderful ladies have a lovely day today

FTM poor lil Vale. At least now you know what's wrong and the formula is helping her. Awesome that she slept for 6hrs too. My youngest nephew suffered from reflux and what a difference it made to his and my sisters life when it was diagnosed. Less pain, less vomit, less washing and better sleep. Lovely to hear from you.

    Thank you Maybee

It's definitely much nicer to have a diagnosis and an action plan than to watch her writhing around in pain not knowing what the heck I could do to help. I'm looking forward to the less washing that's for sure

Maybee - if it makes you feel better I am 39 weeks today head not engaged no s&s looks like I will go overdue. I have no Braxton hicks anymore either! I have just booked out everyday so I don't think about it as much.

Thinking of you ToniS - can't wait to hear your news!

Nila - so exciting you get to meet your babies soon!

FTM - my DD had reflux I understand how frustrating it can be. Hope the anti reflux formula works for you. I bf so didn't get to try one but heard through friends they can work well.

AFM - ob app yesterday. Baby is not fully engaged yet. I think they are only 3/5 engaged (whatever that means) I was trying to get induced before my ob goes away (he leaves on holiday next fri a day after my due date) but my body isn't ready so guess we are doing this the natural way. I think I am excited about that now though because my DD birth was a difficult induction at 38 weeks when I got pre eclempsia so it's a relief thinking that this little one is healthy and I am healthy this time we can just wait it out. Today is my birthday so hopefully bub doesn't come today
