Rainbow my ob and a midwife at the hospital told me the electronic bp machines aren't accurate during pregnancy. I was using one and they told me to stop using it. It was giving me diastolic readings no where near my actual reading. What type of machine are you using?

Hmmm no idea what it was. An omron I think but it had no cord so was battery operated I assume?

Yea that's the one I have they said its not accurate because of all the extra blood or something along those lines lol. Did it give you high readings or low? I found it would give me a diastolic reading of 10-15 less than it was

    Hi all

Quick post. Rainbow your blood pressure can fluctuate pretty quickly is my understanding. One of my issues with my BP was the variability in readings I was getting. It was going up and down and my ob was worried. To be honest I would mention it at your next appointment. 130/80 is in the normal range but if its starting to go up for any reason better to have it watched more regularly in my opinion.

    Lilsmurfy happy baby shower.

Toni you are crazy in the nicest possible way.

Sitting up waiting for ds to go to sleep. Officially his due date today! Can't believe he is 8 days old.

Wave everyone else! Hope your all well! Can't believe in the next few weeks there is going to be a big baby boom in here.

Thanks Sage. I'll mention it because they're already keeping an eye on it for me, I'll see what they say about doing it at home...

Hope you're going well with little Tate!!!

    Lil petal - that's a cute nursery!!

Channy - cute pup!!! Has she settled in well?

Sorry - about the seemingly random previous post. My BH app isn't working all that great over here.

Reveal was okay. Bit upset that the first thing mil said was "but I want to buy pink!"

I told her to buy our boy pink if she wanted.

DP came home and cried. It's our first baby and we are excited, it'd be nice if other people could at least pretend to be excited for us even if they'd rather it be a girl
