    I am doubting she will replace it. Hopefully she does replace it though. But yeah I would wait two weeks.

    I think this too and if I was the parent I wouldn't have offered to buy the child who left their scooter in the way a replacement but seeing as though the mother did offer to replace the scooter I would go and ask her when its likely to be replaced.

    Thanks ladies, think i got all the info i need!

    FWIW i'm not entirely sure how it was run over, or where it was located for it to be run over, she actually never brought the broken scooter back either when she came to tell me about what had happens.. So i have no info other then what he has told me which was that it was just 'run over'. The likelihood of it being left in the driveway or something similar is probable. But i cant be certain.

    Oh well live and learn! Perhaps this time without a scooter will allow her to appreciate the privilege of having one.
