    Hi Ladies

I have been reading along but have not really wanted to say anything about us. We do not have the children anymore. The foster company decided after 6 months they were not adapting. Our hearts were broken. The little girl did not want to go but the little boy was happy. I enjoyed being a mum for the short time and miss them dearly. We have decided not to go through this again, it is too hard. We did not hear from the company for 3 months after they moved the kids either (not a lot of support given) and have not heard from again.
I would recommend to anyone thinking about this to try and talk to people who are permanent foster carers first so you can get a better bigger picture.

I want to send big Congratulations to all the BFP's and new mums and dads
Also I am sorry to see the BFN's

I will remain childless now and concentrate on DP's grandkids.
All my best wishes to everyone

@wishing4 thank you for coming by and telling your story. I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you. What you have described is our worst fear re fostering. I hope you have great joy in caring for your partner's grand kids.

Wishing.... oh that is such a sad story. My heart absolutely sank as I read it. Hopefully happier times are ahead.

Simppson... I'm 16w1d today. There's no "bump" as such, but two weeks ago the top part of my stomach expanded, and no amount of "sucking" it in will make it budge to look skinny anymore!! I've been wearing the baggiest tops to work in the past two weeks to try to cover it, though I have seen a couple of people stare, but no-one said anything. I've started long service leave today, so I can be a recluse at home for the next three weeks until the 19-20 week scan before announcing to the world :-)) Thanks for thinking of me.

Just a quick line to say my 20 week scan went perfect today, everything normal looking, and the genetic specialist said that my chromosome issue will not affect the genes of the baby. And... we're having a baby girl :-))

Congrats @MGC Bertie - get ready to spend all your $$$ on clothes for her. So much more fun clothes shopping for baby girls, so I'm discovering! 😅💸💸💸💰
