Update.... well, turned up for transfer this morning and my FS had decided to do a double transfer for the first time. I was a bit surprised as he's always been against it for me, but a few factors weighed in to do it today. Firstly both day three embies were looking good - a 7ab and an 8ab, and he couldn't really say that one would fair better than the other. Secondly, as it is Xmas on day 5, they would have to freeze the second embie today at d3, and apparently d3 ones aren't as successful at thawing as d5 blastocyst ones. So a double transfer we did!

Have bought my Clexane and will start jabbing that tonight, along with pregyl tonight; days 3,6,9, and now up Prednisolone to 30. Will also go for a mid-way BT on Sat to check progesterone levels in case we need to adjust pessaries, so am happy with amount of follow-up. Preg BT not until 6 Jan, so just as well there's lots of Xmas activities between now and then.

Peonies- congrats again on the arrival of your little DS! Such an adorable baby! I hope motherhood is coming easily to you and he is a little angel.

Chiefsgirl- welcome to the Dr M club! So happy to hear you're consulting him before cycling again.

Nattie- glad you had a productive appointment with Dr M and that your lap went smoothly with no endo found. Hope you're recovering quickly xo

Wishing- hope things are going well with the kiddies in their new home. Must be so wonderful to have them around in time for Christmas

Traveler- Yes I had my ultrasound the next day after you asked. Update below

MGC- oh yay, you are PUPO!! Congrats on your 2 beautiful embies! The TWW will surely go quickly with Xmas & NY coming. I hope you get the best ever start to 2014 with your BFP

    Big Hi to everyone else

AFM- sorry, have been MIA for a while. So busy with house renos, travelling for work, tying up loose ends before hols, and in-laws staying with us. Finally have some breathing space! I've made to half way, 20 weeks now . We had our morphology scan last week and everything was fine with bub. Needless to say that was an amazing early Xmas present! Still not feeling any movement, but hopefully any day now. Latest pic here:

    19wk scan.jpg

Incase I don't post again beforehand, Merry Christmas to all you wonderful ladies!

This thread has saved my sanity more times than I can count and I'm so grateful to have had your support at the worst times, and that you are sharing in my happiness now. As much as it sucks to keep being defeated cycle after cycle, the BFPs do eventually come to those who perservere and don't give up. I hope our TTCers are all blessed with that elusive sticky BFP in 2014

Well, progesterone levels for half-way through TWW came back today as being nice and high - 113.4, so FS happy with that to stay on one pessary morning and night. It's good to hear, since in previous cycles when they've only checked it at the end at the preg BT, it had dropped to almost nothing. Glad I had it checked half-way :-)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

Bertie, glad to hear your progesterone is nice and high, hoping it means good things!

Simpson, great news on the scan.

AFM - started jabbing again on Boxing Day, with first BT yesterday. I've ditched Elonva for this cycle and am back on Gonal F again. Next BT and scan on Thursday.

Traveller.... I'm just as crazy this TWW as any other!! I thought being busy over Christmas and New Year would help, but only a weeny bit :-)) I can't believe how much I've studied my toilet tissue for any implantation signs (none) nor wishing I would get some kind of twitch, pain or ache (none as well).

Last night I woke up with what I thought was AF pains, but considering I've been jabbing with Pregnyl, AF should stay away at least another week. But my craziness thinks that perhaps DH hasn't jabbed the Pregnyl correctly, or maybe it's been too cold in my fridge so it's not working. After lying for more than an hour thinking about the aches, I realise it's just because we had a really big dinner and all that pork is just making it's way down my system!!! Lol, I really thought I was going to be more calm and collected this time :-))

SpringRain... good luck with the jabbing :-))

Argh... TWW hurry up and be over!
BT is Friday. But it can't come soon enough!
MGC - I know what you mean re this TWW. I also thought with all the Christmas and New Years happenings this TWW would go by faster.
But I've been given desk duty at work and it's just making every day drag!
Dp has had some cramping yesterday. Still doing pessaries, and last pregnyl was 27th. Are you on 400U pessaries? Was it you having one morning and night?

MGC- great news on the prog levels! The TWW was always really hard for me so I can't give you any good strategies I'm sorry. The second half especially is pure torture. Hoping like mad your embies have latched on and you join the Dr M graduates club!

Catemer- oh wow you kept your cycle quiet! Best of luck for Friday, lets hope you kick off our thread with the first BFP of 2014 and many more to follow

Springrain- yay for jabbing! Hope you get a great batch of eggs, sending growing vibes to your follies

TTHC- things are definitely flying now! I'll have plenty of time to rest from here on in, my work schedule is very light from Jan-Apr and bulk of house renos are done. Just our room, bubs room and the study left; and the hardest part is the painting which DH doesn't let me do anyway .

Traveler- hope all is well with you, DH and the kiddies. Are you going anywhere for holidays?

    Hi to everyone else

AFM- Had a lovely xmas with my family and in-laws. Very low-key and casual as there's no kids (yet!) and we don't do presents for adults. DH & I usually hit the post xmas sales and buy ourselves cool stuff . This year we treated ourselves to a new 70in TV . NYE today, hard to believe another year is over... I hope 2014 is filled with happiness for us all, and that our TTC girls have their BFPs before another year passes by
