TTHC- You are definitely the queen of long phone posts! I never had any MS to complain about. Quite lucky really, had a few slightly queasy moments but nothing close to actually spewing. I have more than a little bump, my belly is so big it is now getting in my way! Suddenly its difficult to grab stuff out of the bottom of the trolley, put shoes on, unload the bottom rack of the dishwasher, etc. Yes my godson was stunned when the kookaburra took his sausage, it happened so fast he didn't really react until the bird was long gone... and he just had this funny look on his face as if to say "WTF!" . The Christmas trip sounds like lots of fun, I reckon you will need a holiday after the holiday for sure!

Chiefsgirl- I stalked the Oct/Nov thread and saw your update. Sorry the response hasn't been better, but I have faith that quality over quantity will prevail and you'll have a beautiful embryo to transfer soon. Good luck with your EPU on Thurs!

Springrain- are you any closer to working out whether you'll do a fresh or FET next cycle? And any news on the re-test of the inconclusive embie?

Catemer- how's the cycle going? Hope your DP has lots of follies and is close to EPU

    Hi Everyone else

AFM- I'm going well. Have started weaning my meds, down to 20mg pred this week and no more pessaries, yay!

@Chiefsgirl how did your next BT & scan go sweety? Hopefully you're on track & things are speeding up! Fingers crossed for lots of beautiful follies in there!!
@SimpsonDesert I had a little giggle at the belly already getting in the way! I can just picture you in a few months, this tiny petite body & then BAM a massive belly!! Yay for weaning off the meds! I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy is going!! (For me anyways!!)

AFM-sick.. Again! Ever since having DS2 I feel like I'm getting sick at least once a month-it's really starting to get to me.. My immune system must have turned to cr@ppola for some reason!!! Really annoying!!

Hope everyone is staying warm-what horrible weather!!! Xx

thanks for thinking of me @SimpsonDesert and @TheTimeHasCome!

Today is pretty much a horrible day, bloods went up on Friday from 600 to 980 (apparently when you're on orgalutran the numbers aren't as high as what they actually are? They said they come out about half of what they actually are?) so they said they were ok with that. they told me they wouldn't call me with the number from today as I have to go back for another bt tmw morning. My three follies grew and are at 18, 17 and 16 something, so I'm going to trigger tomorrow night for epu on Thursday.

I know I should be happy with three follies when I have an amh of 1.5, I know the saizen isn't going to give me any more follies than without it, but I got 6 last time! And I know that those number wasn't necessarily great last time as they were slow growers and didn't take, but I've just had such a rough time with side effects and feeling emotional this time that I truly hoped for a better number than 3!

I know I need to stop over thinking things, and that it's definitely quality over quantity (that's why I'm taking the Saizen), but gosh, it's just hard slog isn't it? I think I'm just having one of those why me days today! I've got cankles and a bad headache and feeling woe is me!

On the plus side, I asked my boss for Friday off as well and he said yes. I think I just need a day to myself to chill and do nothing

Simpson, you need to invest in slip on shoes - or go around in thongs all day

Sorry to hear you are sick TTHC, there is nothing worse, especially in weather like this. Take care of yourself.

everyone else, hope you are well, sorry it's such a downer post, I'll get out of my funk soon!

Quick one ladies, epu today, we got 5 eggs! I think 2 will be immature as the follies were 10 and 12 on Monday, but at least they obviously did grow!

Sedation didn't work, I was awake the whole time and boy did it hurt, especially when they gave me a darn local which didn't really seem to help! It's over now though just gotta wait for fertilisation tomorrow.

@traveler-how shocking is it!? The hardest part about being a parent is when you're sick, you still have to function like every other day.. It's killing me! It has now turned into a sinus & throat infection! I'm on Antibiotics at the moment, my whole face is sore! Wahh Whinge whinge! How are your DS & DD going? Are they getting along great now that DD is more mobile?
@crofty-still getting sick!? You poor thing!! Is there anything that helps you ease it?
@Chiefsgirl-5 eggs is great!! I'm so happy things are looking up, hopefully they're all mature and you get some amazing little bubs out of them!! (I'm hoping your whole family is in the batch!) Are you doing a 3dt or 5dt? Umm you were awake & felt everything 😳 how does that happen!?!? Ouch!!!! Couldn't imagine the pain!! Was this the first time it has happened to you??

Hi ladies, 4 out of 5 fertilised so it'll be a 5dt for me (my clinic only does that if you get 3 or more fertilised).

TTHC unfortunately it's the 2nd time, my 2nd cycle I became aware during the middle of it. I felt things but it wasn't painful, more traumatic because I didn't know it could happen. My third cycle it didn't happen so I wasn't prepared for it this time. I felt a bit woozy, but didn't go 'under' as such. Felt them give me a local inside the wahoo and boy did that hurt, that's when I started crying! My nurse was so supportive though and kept giving me words of encouragement, luckily I didn't have more follies I don't know if I could have stood that! When it happened last time a lady on here said it happens to her every time, and that if you aren't relaxed it can happen. When I got back to the clinic my fn said that your body can become 'used' to the sedation so it won't work. It was my 4th stim this year so I'm not surprised really!

I'm still shocked you felt it!! You poor thing! Hopefully you never need another egg collection & won't go through that again!! Xx

My clinic won't transfer 2 if the second is good enough to freeze. They do 1+1 which means the best one plus one that isn't good enough to freeze.

Yes, I hope to not have to stim again!
