I dont really drink now, maybe a bottle of Smirnoff double black if I have something.
When I was younger I was a bit of a party animal :/ i would drink insane amounts but not get drunk!
I only ever would drink the Smirnoff double black which is like (7%?)... I know for my 18th I drank 8 bottles before going out and probably at least 8 while I was out, still remember the entire night no hang over in the morning either (awesome - but surely not normal!)

Anjalee, I'm missing the wine and champagne too! About to start stocking up the wine racks again, for when the baby is born...

I've still been buying wine when I see it pop up at a good price.... it's not until I get home I think "oh crap, the checkout person must have been judging the hell out of me in line" haha. I feel like I need to wear a big sign saying "IT'S FOR AFTER THE BABY IS BORN!"

I had a similar situation when buying a bottle of scotch for Dad's birthday recently! Waddling across the carpark clutching some Glenmoranjie - not a great look...!!

DH keeps upsetting me at the moment, as he doesn't drink much at all, but will open a (really nice) bottle of red, have one glass, and then leave the bottle there for days until we have to throw it out. Nooo...

    Sorry to derail, OP.

    I do that too OP.

I don't fill my glass as per standard glasses - it looks empty! I fill it so it's full - like I would with a glass of water.

By the end of that initial glass, I don't even care about getting drunk, because I'm already tipsy and just want more.

I drink rarely, those the past few months, since having become a working mother, I drink a lot more. lol. (Only when I'm not working the next day though, cos I can think of nothing worse than going to work exhausted... I don't get hungover, I just feel tired the next day).
