To me, success is "being the change you want to see in the world", success is happiness, success is security and success is love. I think that covers all the main bits

I want say something about love, and harmonious family life, and something like that...

But my honest feeling is success is like a drive to do better - and there's always better - having more, doing more, being more. Though I used to work in sales for a "personal development" company with the word success in the title and I think largely what they sold was dissatisfaction. So... The word success is possibly forever tainted for me.

Success is trying and sometimes failing but being happy anyway. Being happy with what you have, not every single day but in general. I believe you need to step outside your comfort zone and face hardship to truly appreciate success because it requires coming out the other end of hardship.

To me being successful means being happy and feeling fulfilled within my life.

Money, shiny new things or flashy clothes don't come into it.

Although at the moment we are in the process of building a new family home in a wonderful neighbourhood so yes this may seem like materialistic to some but for us it signifies a new chapter in our family's life, one that we have worked and planned long for.
